GearSpawn Guides
The answer pages. One question per page, the short answer first.
Most gear advice online is written to sell you something or to rank on Google — sometimes both, rarely honestly. These guides work differently. Each one answers one real question a gamer or a parent actually asks, leads with the short answer, and then shows the work: the picks, the prices with the date we checked them, the pros and the cons, and how we chose.
Three rules run every page here:
- Prices carry a date. Every price is checked against our live catalog and stamped. If a price moves, the stamp is the age of the number you're reading.
- No invented ratings. We don't print star ratings or review counts we can't back up. If a spec isn't stated by the maker, the guide says so instead of filling the gap.
- Hands-on means hands-on. Where a pick is based on verified specifications and sourcing checks rather than our own bench time, the guide says that plainly.
