GearSpawn LLC ("GearSpawn," "we," "us") respects your privacy and your right to control your personal information. This page explains what data we hold and how to ask us to delete it.
What data we may hold about you
Depending on how you've interacted with us, we may hold:
- Store / order data — name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order history from purchases at gearspawn.com.
- Account data — the name, email, and preferences on your gearspawn.com customer account.
- Chat and messaging data — messages you send us, including conversations with our "Spawn Master" assistant on our website chat, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp. On WhatsApp this includes your WhatsApp phone number and the content of your messages to us.
- Review data — if you submitted an honest review through our site, the name, email, rating, and review text you provided.
- Marketing data — email or phone number you gave us for updates and offers.
How to request deletion
Email support@gearspawn.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and tell us:
- The email address (and, for WhatsApp/chat records, the phone number) associated with your data, and
- Which data you'd like deleted (for example: "my WhatsApp chat history" or "all of my data").
We may ask you to verify that the data is yours before we delete it — for example, by replying from the email address or phone number on file.
What happens next
- We will confirm receipt of your request by email.
- We will delete the requested personal data from our systems within 30 days of verifying your request, and email you when it's done.
- Some records must be kept longer where the law requires it — for example, order and transaction records we must retain for tax and accounting purposes. Anything we keep for those reasons is not used for marketing.
- Deleting your chat or WhatsApp data cannot undo messages already delivered, and data held by platforms themselves (Meta/WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook) is controlled by those platforms — you can also delete conversations from your own apps at any time.
